API changelog

4.10.2026
Accessories archive: invalid filtering and sorting keys. In the archive/prislusenstvi agenda it is not possible to filter or sort by filtr (the archive does not store the value), nor by aktivni, lastModified and pobocka@id, which the archive does not have. Such a key in the filter parameter now returns error 406, in the order parameter it is ignored – previously both ended with error 500.

4.10.2026
Agenda uservalue in the change schema. The list of values of the agenda element in the schema of the change agenda (/schemas-en/change.{xsd|rng}) now contains uservalue, the value the API has always returned for changes of user-defined values; the former uservalues stays in the schema but never appears in the output. API outputs are unchanged.

4.10.2026
Fax removed. The fax element has been removed from the agendas firma (kontaktniUdaje/fax), pobocka and eshop – from reading and writing and from the schemas. The output no longer contains the fax element; when writing, a sent value is ignored (without a warning). A client that validates the output must use the current schema.

4.10.2026
Contacts of ads. The new agenda kontakt manages the dealer's contacts (phones, e-mail and website shown with the ad instead of the branch details), and the agendas moto, dily and prislusenstvi have the new element kontakt for dealers with contacts – a client that validates the output must use the current schema.

1.10.2026
YouTube links. The youtube element in the moto and prislusenstvi agendas now also recognises links to YouTube Shorts (youtube.com/shorts/…), a link with a leading space and a link without https://. If the video ID cannot be determined from the link, the API returns a warning and the video is not shown with the ad.
A YouTube link in the originalUrl element of a video is not downloaded – the video agenda returns an error, writing a video in the moto agenda returns a warning; a YouTube video belongs in the youtube element.

27.9.2026
Statistics methodology and API extensibility. The new reference page Statistics methodology summarises in context how the numbers in the ad statistics, the dealer statistics and the ad table are produced and how to read them: what is measured where, zero and not measured, coverage, incomplete values, range, ad lifetime, bots, video and deliberate simplifications.
– the general principle for the whole API is now in the paragraph Extensibility (linked also from the introduction of the documentation): parameters and elements may be added and removed, the client ignores unknown elements, attributes and values, the meaning of an existing element does not change, and a client that validates the output must use the current schema after an extension,
– completed sub-agenda overviews: the ad table in the dealer overview, the statistics of a deleted ad in the archive records (moto, dily, prislusenstvi) and the ad table in the list lokacestats.
The API outputs do not change.

27.9.2026
Ad table in the API statistics. The new sub-agenda stats at the address /c/{dealer ID}/stats/{moto|dily|prislusenstvi} returns the totals of the metrics for the chosen period for the individual ads of one section (one record statsmoto, statsdily or statsprislusenstvi per ad) – only ads with traffic in the range, including deleted ones. A client thus gets thousands of ads with one request instead of the statistics of each ad separately:
– parameters from, to, location and detail as for the ad statistics (the default detail is summary); period is only validated, no-series is ignored, section and breakdown return 406 (URL parameters),
– sorting (order, default zobrazeni DESC), filtering (filter) and pagination (limit default 500, at most 5000, start); the number of records rowCount is always in the output (exception in pagination),
– requires the statsperm permission, like the ad and dealer statistics; it is enough for deleted ads too,
– new schemas /schemas/stats/{moto|dily|prislusenstvi}.{xsd|rng} – a client that validates the output needs the current schema.

27.9.2026
Dealer statistics in the API. The new agenda stats at the address /c/{dealer ID}/stats returns the statistics of a dealer by day, week or month, divided into the sections moto, dily, prislusenstvi and firma, plus the vybirame block, the “Our pick” list on MotoInzerce.cz (Vybíráme z nabídky). There is no total across sections; deleted ads are included in the totals:
– parameters as for the ad statistics (period, from, to, location, breakdown, detail and no-series) plus section for selecting sections (URL parameters),
– requires the statsperm permission, like the ad statistics,
– new schemas /schemas/stats.{xsd|rng}.
The dealer overview /c/{dealer ID} contains the new agenda stats. The dealers list c contains the new element statsPermissions (whether the login has the statsperm permission for the dealer). The lists agenda contains the new list lokacestats with the placements for the location parameter and the lokace element. The schemas c and lists and the documentation were updated accordingly – a client that validates the output must use the current schema.

27.9.2026
Ad statistics in the API. The new sub-agenda stats returns the statistics of a single ad by day, week or month – ad detail views, impressions in result lists, click-throughs to the dealer's website, replies to the ad, saves to favourites, video plays and promotion boxes. It is based on the same counters and rules as the statistics in the dealer administration:
– address /c/{dealer ID}/{moto|dily|prislusenstvi}/{ad ID}/stats, for a deleted ad /c/{dealer ID}/archive/{moto|dily|prislusenstvi}/{ad ID}/stats; api-{idApi} can be used instead of the ad ID,
– parameters period, from, to, location, breakdown, detail and no-series (URL parameters),
– the new permission statsperm: the dealer turns it on for the login in the administration (menu 'Web / export' → 'API propojení', checkbox 'Statistiky'); by default it is off. It is also enough for the statistics of deleted ads; the permission at the 'archive' level is not needed for them,
– new schemas /schemas/stats/inzerat.{xsd|rng}.
In the moto, dily and prislusenstvi agendas, detail level full (and custom:stats) contains the new element stats with the lifetime counters zobrazeni, odpovedi and urlKliknuti, the same as in the archive. The element does not require the statsperm permission; its ref attribute links to the detailed statistics. Because full is the default for the record detail, all clients will see the element; the export schemas of the moto, dily and prislusenstvi agendas were updated (new optional element stats) – a client that validates the output needs their current version.
In the archive agenda (moto, dily, prislusenstvi), the stats element has a new ref attribute with a link to the detailed statistics. The schemas and the documentation were updated accordingly – a client that validates the output must use the current schema (also the archive one; the older schema rejects the new ref attribute).

26.9.2026
Photo order via the API. The order of the photos in the ad gallery and the main photo are now one mechanism (the main photo is always at position 1) with the same rules for all paths, see Order and main photo:
– the new sub-agenda photo/sort changes the order of several photos at once and supports dry-run (example),
– the new element sortOrder (position of the photo, 1 = main photo) in the output of the photo agenda and in the photos of the moto, dily and prislusenstvi agendas; it can be written in the photo agenda and in the ad import (absolute position),
– in the photo agenda you can change only the order or the main photo without sending photo data; the response now also contains result/warnings,
– the new attribute reorder="true" on photos in the ad import sorts the gallery by the order of the photos in the structure.
Clarification of the main value: everywhere 1/true = main photo, 0/false = not the main photo, empty value = not set. Any other value is ignored and returns a warning, so an ad import with ?fail-on-warning is then not processed. Previously the ad import treated any non-empty value other than 0 (so even false) as the main photo and the photo agenda only 1.
Changes in behaviour:
– an ad import without main no longer overwrites the main photo with the first photo of the structure (previously this happened with every import); the first photo of the structure is the main one only for an ad that has no photos yet. An import without main, sortOrder and reorder does not change the order of the photos, and the order set in the administration is kept as well,
– if the import deletes the current main photo and specifies neither the main photo nor the order, the first newly added photo becomes the main one (so replacing the title photo with a new URL keeps working),
– otherwise a new URL is a new photo at the end of the gallery; a change of stamp replaces a photo in the same place,
– replacing a photo in the ad import via stamp (or forceupdate) gives the photo a new ID and thus a new URL; its position in the gallery and the main photo stay the same (previously the photo was overwritten under the same ID, but jumped to a different place in the gallery). Note: forceupdate="true" therefore gives new IDs to all photos of the ad,
– replacing the content of a photo via the photo agenda (PUT /photo/{id}) keeps the ID and the position of the photo; main = 1 moves the photo to position 1; the first photo uploaded to an ad without photos becomes the main photo even without main,
– if the ad import sets main = 1 on several photos, the first of them is now the main photo (previously the last), the others are ignored,
– main = 1 on an existing photo in the ad import now also moves it to position 1 in the gallery (previously only the thumbnail in the ad overview changed),
– a change of photos (editPhotos in the change agenda) is now also reported after a photo is replaced via stamp,
– in photo outputs, main is now always 1 exactly for the photo in position 1 (the one the website shows first) and 0 for the others; previously some ads showed an empty value or 1 on several photos,
– the photo.xml output no longer lists some photos twice, and their detail no longer returns error 404.
The export and import schemas (new photo/sort-import) and the documentation were updated.

25.9.2026
In the archive agenda (moto, dily, prislusenstvi), the stats element had the elements fbShare and fbComment removed.
Facebook share and comment counts have not been updated for years because Facebook stopped providing them. The schemas and the agenda documentation were updated accordingly.

9.9.2026
Photos no longer have to be in JPG format. We now also accept PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF and WebP – equally in the photo agenda and in photos sent within the moto, dily and prislusenstvi agendas.
This applies to all delivery methods: url, content (Base64) and raw-data. We always convert the photo to our own format and process it further as before, so nothing changes in the output.
Transparency is replaced with white; for an animated GIF or WebP and a multi-page TIFF we use the first frame. The format is determined by the file content, not by the extension in the URL. Details in the description of the photo agenda.

8.9.2026
Added the new motoceny agenda with price data from withdrawn motorcycle ads, i.e. with what is in the MotoCeny client interface.
The agenda is read-only and is available to the login of the dealer's own website. It lists the manufacturer, model, engine capacity, power, year, mileage, roadworthiness test, price and the number of days the ad was on the server.
It supports filtering, sorting and full-text search. Details in the agenda description.

8.9.2026
Fixed the comparison of engine capacity in numeric ranges.
Fixed the outputs of the archive agenda and its sub-agendas.
Other minor fixes in schemas, documentation etc.

24.3.2025
In the moto agenda, an element was added: prevodovka

8.1.2020
In the moto agenda, elements were added: abs, valce, majitelu, labels

18.12.2018
In the moto agenda, a section and the sub-agenda video were added
It makes the ad's video available and also allows adding a video to the ad through the agenda.
As part of this, the change agenda now offers a new action of type editVideos, which is also sent in webhooks.

12.12.2018
The firma agenda was updated:
Some settings that concern only tipmoto.com features were removed (e.g. antispam settings etc.)
User-defined values were moved out of the agenda into the separate uservalue agenda, where the definition can be written (WRITE). The separation made it possible to track them using hooks and change. The manual for this feature was updated.

11.12.2018
Schemas were extended across the API

3.12.2018
Support for schemas was added (for now in beta, only in the main agendas).
Added the guide Differences from a typical REST API

16.11.2018
In the moto agenda, the elements takt, predvadeci, stav were added.
The elements vin and serviska are now automatically available to all users.
The elements nove, predvadeci, bourane are kept only for compatibility reasons (now replaced by the stav element).

6.8.2018
Support for full-text search was added
Price history was added (the ceny agenda).
Based on our observations we updated the guide Recommendations for your imports (read interface)

23.7.2018
For image import (photo) it is now possible to add the attribute modify with the value trim - the borders are then trimmed automatically (if the border is a single colour)

16.7.2018
Image resizing was also built into the API - the sub-agenda resize belonging to the photo agenda

25.6.2018
On-the-fly image processing was launched - more in the res.tmimg.cz documentation

21.5.2018
For greater transparency, several new agendas containing the archive and access records were added.
request - records of accesses made by the API user
archive - archive data about ads and accesses (requires permission at the 'archive' level)

19.4.2018
The dealer agenda change now deletes change data 180 days after the ad is deleted.

4.4.2018
In XML format, a link to the specific agenda documentation was added in comments to every listing.

16.2.2018
The prislusenstvi agenda now has a new structure models.
It specifies which motorcycle/quad models the accessory is intended for. It can also be used for writing.
This includes the new element modelyMoto in the lists/zarazeniprislusenstvi agenda

Users can now forbid an element in a specific export. For more, see Elements forbidden in export

30.1.2018
In the moto agenda it is now possible to use the elements vyrobeno and doProvozu at the same time.

13.2.2017
In the moto agenda, the element cenaOld was added.

17.8.2016
Added the URL parameter usrval-show, which is used for user-definable fields. The feature applies to the moto, dily, prislusenstvi agendas.
Added further types of user-defined variables.

27.7.2016
Added user-definable fields.
They appear as the uservalues structure in the moto, dily, prislusenstvi, firma agendas.
